I remember him very well. He was the tallist boy at Gillsville School, the best basket ball player and we all called him Punkin. I remember he rode my uncle John's bus to school every day. Glad to read about the his life.

Myra Poole Mote Benefield
January 29, 2026
My mother had lots of favorite cousins like Punkin Poole that had no starting or stoping place. My papa Raymond Poole and mother Ruenelle Poole Roberts had the ultimate love of family and friends surely Punkin that extended all over the place surely Heaven. All of us had equal life and love but Ed Punkin Poole was outstanding in all ways that mattered most He was also a last Grandchild of Marian Andrew (coot) Poole There are many us left as we have an extended family Tree book of this lineage complied in 2018 including 9 generations! Our Poole kin got a boost into Heaven by Punkin s father my Uncle Henry Poole walking to preach the Gospel in the East Hall area . Punkin preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every way in his life by his funny laughing humble strong dynamic life in testimony of love and belief in Jesus and Heaven. That made all people happy to be with him in Life and now transferring to Gods Eternal Home for all believers His memorial is surely true here as his Daughter Lana Poole and spouse Mike plus all extended family made sure he was honored in life and now his passing. We talked a long time last night that about living in loving his wonderful life that will live on forever My strongest memory of Him was his love he extended surely to all and me and my family by just visiting to love and talk. I can´t write or edit with waning eyes but I know you know what I mean to share now. I just wanted to say this now.
