Mr.. Claude Ramsey was born to the late Mr. Claude Ramsey and the late Mrs.Mary Francis Burton Brown on September 30 , 1950 in Toccoa Ga . He departed this life on March 18, 2025 .
Claude was a great Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and cousin to all, and he will be greatly missed by many.
He was married to Gloria Walker Ramsey on March 12,2011.
Preceding him in death are his parents, son, Gerald Ramsey, his siblings: Mary Ann Brown, James Link, John Thomas Brown, Martha Butch, Shirley Brown and step-father Mr. Julius C. Brown.
Left to Cherish his memories are his loving wife Mrs. Gloria Walker Ramsey, Seven children: Alma (Pebbles) Maxwell of Royston, Doris Blackwell of Cornelia, Shelia McIntosh of Hartwell, Vickie Oglesby (David) of Royston, Timothy Walker, Shekima Walker, and Demetric Edwards of Mississippi, daughter in law Potasha Ramsey, two sisters: Clara Louise Drinkard and Sally Bush, one brother, Joseph Brown and five aunts and two uncles, a host of Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends who loved him dearly. A special grandchild Gilbert Gray Jr. that was reared in the home.
His body will lie in state on Friday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 to 4:00 at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Funeral service is Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11:00am at the Coile and Hall Funeral Direcors Chapel.
