Claude was a cherished individual, known for his vibrant personality and the joy he brought to those around him. Claude’s memory will be lovingly preserved by his son, Anthony Stancil, of Virginia Beach, and his four daughters, Cecelia, Lucy, and Miracle and Jessylu all of North Carolina. He is survived by two brothers: William Roger Johnson of Zebulon, NC, Maurice Stancil of Smithfield, NC,. His three sisters include Marriette A. Stancil of Raleigh, NC, Shonda Covington (Dante) of Smithfield, NC, and Tawanda Johnson (Mark) of Kenly, NC., and his two brothers Brad Elliot Stancil and Charles Edward Branch whom both preceded him in death.
