Mrs. Claudette Renee Gabrielli

Gabrielli, Claudette Claudette Gabrielli, 76, of Los Osos passed away Monday Feb. 26, 2007, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born Aug. 4, 1930, in Great Falls, Mont., Claudette was a lifetime teacher. Claudette is remembered fondly by her students as the best teacher they ever had. In and out of the classroom, she taught us all how to be better human beings. A true inspiration to everyone she encountered, she was a prime example of a loving, caring, unselfish person. She exuded an incredible zest for life--from driving a red convertible to the way she presented herself, she always projected how wonderful life is. Claudette was a great supporter of the community and had a special love and care for those in greatest need. No one she met went untouched by her love. Her outlook on life is something everyone should aspire to achieve, it invites us all to live, laugh, love and serve. Claudette is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lou. She is survived by her brother Clark Davis, sister Patsy Hay, brother Pete Davis, and sister Marcia Woolston. She was a loving mother to Jim Gabrielli and wife Merri Lynne of Folsom, Calif., Kathy Breska and husband Peter of Los Osos and the Rev. Ted Gabrielli, S.J. of San Jose, Calif.; beloved grandmother to Kevin Gabrielli, Daniel Gabrielli and wife Heather, Emily and Nick Ruffing, Jackie, Jennifer and Tony Breska, Henry, Felix, Patricio and beloved great-grandmother to Hannah, Kyle and Darren Gabrielli. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Dolores Gabrielli and Gloria Gabrielli and numerous nephews, nieces and God children. Loved as Gram by multitudes, she loves you all. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Patricia and Arthur Ball and Claude Davis and brothers-in-law, Earl and Bill Gabrielli. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Los Osos Valley Mortuary and a prayer service will follow at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Los Osos. Burial will follow at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park. A celebration of her life will follow at the home of Kathy and Peter Breska.
