Claudia Bradley Obituary

Claudia Bradley
December 30, 2025
Claudia Nobile Bradley, of Branford, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Robert D. Bradley, her companion for over 50 years.
Born in New Haven on January 6, 1953, Claudia was the daughter of the late George and Eva Nobile. She graduated from Branford High School in 1971 and earned her nursing degree at the University of Connecticut in 1975. She devoted over 45 years of her life to a career she loved- first as a labor and delivery nurse at the Hospital of St. Raphael and later as a Certified Nurse Midwife - welcoming thousands of babies into the world while offering comfort and expertise to new mothers. She was proud to be a mentor to both nurses and physicians. Her work reflected the essence of who she was: compassionate, strong, and committed to caring for others.
Claudia's family was her greatest pride and joy, and she loved them unconditionally. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Sara (Scott) Monde of Northford, Katy (Chris) Blanchette of Guilford and Amy (Jimmy) Walczak of North Branford; and her grandchildren whom she adored, Ryan and Jack Monde, Patrick, Kellen, and Maeve Blanchette, and Carly Walczak. She also leaves behind her brother Brian (Maureen) Nobile and sister Vanessa (Roger) Reale, both of Branford; her sister-in-law Karen Barletta of Cheshire; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her family, she is survived by her dear friend Louise Demaio, whom she considered a sister, as well as many lifelong friends and former colleagues who loved and admired her. She was predeceased by her brother, Timothy Nobile, her parents-in-law Robert and Rita Bradley, and her brother-in-law, Michael Barletta.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford and may attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Parish in St. Mary Church, Branford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) or the Community Dining Room (www.communitydiningroom.org).
