Claudia Jude Brown

Claudia Jude Brown, 60, of Belcamp, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the beloved eldest daughter of Claude and Elizabeth Lapointe.
Claudia was a proud graduate of Aberdeen High School, Class of 1983, and later attended Elizabethtown College. She spent much of her career in the hospitality industry, where her strong work ethic, leadership, and genuine care for others were evident to all. For many years she worked as a Store Manager for McDonald's and later, continued her career as a bookkeeper for a small nonprofit organization.
Above all else, Claudia was a loving and devoted mother. Her daughters were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into supporting, protecting, and encouraging them throughout every stage of life. She was not only their mother, but also their confidante, mentor, and closest friend. Claudia's kindness, patience, and generous spirit extended far beyond her family, touching the lives of coworkers, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her daughters, Rachel Gray, Angela Gray, and Honey Brown; her parents, Claude and Elizabeth Lapointe; her siblings, Roland Lapointe, Christopher Lapointe, Bernadette Lapointe, Steven Lapointe, Peter Lapointe, and Rebecca Lapointe; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss her.
A private funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Claudia's memory to SARC, an organization that provides confidential support, advocacy, and resources for individuals experiencing personal crisis.
