Claudia Alejandra Camilo was born on February 10th, 1976 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Maria Felix Peña and J. Jesus Cruz Moreno. She passed away peacefully at her mom’s and sister’s house July 9th, 2025 surrounded by family.
Despite working at Burger King for a little over a year, Claudia loved to sew. She would also create different crafts; paper flowers, balloon arches, customized chip bags, among other things. She loved going to Michael’s and going out to various stores with her family. She also loved to enjoy a watermelon with her family. She valued and loved each friendship she made with people. Each person she treated as family. On Sundays she enjoyed going to St. Leonard’s and attending mass.
She fought her cancer until the very end. Through it all she maintained faith and hope. She kept a level head and a full heart and encouraged her family members to do the same: That each day is a blessing.
Preceded in death is her father J. Jesus Cruz Moreno, her grandma Aurora Cruz Moreno, her grandpa Brigido Cruz and her aunt Lupe Salinas.
Claudia is survived by her three daughters Alejandra Rivera, Jessica Camilo, and Karyme Camilo; Her five pets Solin, Luna, Titus, Spike, and Bella; Her husband Gilberto Camilo; Her mother Maria Felix Peña; her two younger sisters Sulema Fuentes and Melissa Urbano; Her niece Ahlia Urbano; Her nephews Samuel Cruz, Adolfo Fuentes, and Alejandro Urbano; As well as more family members living in Mexico.
A memorial mass will be conducted for Claudia on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at St. Leonard's Catholic Church in Pelican Rapids, beginning at 6:30pm.
