JUSTICE

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Claudia (Crockarell) Justice. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Dublin Methodist Hospital with her family by her side. Claudia leaves behind a life defined by love, service, and quiet devotion to others.

A devoted wife of 65 years to her beloved husband, Raymond Justice, she built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Her family was the center of her world. She cherished her children deeply and took immense pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether in everyday moments or in special milestones, she showed up with encouragement, warmth, and a smile.

Education was her calling. She dedicated her special first year of teaching to the former Plattsburg Schools and the following 34 years at Madison Plains Local School District where she touched generations of young lives. Teaching mainly reading, math, and physical education, she believed every child deserved patience, confidence, and the chance to succeed. Many students remember her not only for what she taught, but for how she made them feel – seen, capable, and cared for.

Claudia’s faith guided her life. A longtime, member of the First United Methodist Church in London, she faithfully served her church community in many ways. She was an active participant in the Delphian Society, the Madison Plains Scholarship Committee, and the church’s card ministry – a role she embraced with particular joy. She had a remarkable gift for remembering others and made it a mission to send cards for nearly every occasion, offering encouragement, sympathy, congratulations, or simply a reminder that someone cared.

One of her greatest joys was attending ballgames. She loved cheering from the stands for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – and truthfully, for just about anyone on the field or court. She rarely missed a game and found happiness in the energy, teamwork, and shared moments that sports brought to families and communities.

Her life was a beautiful example of steadfast love, generosity, and faith in action. She leaves behind memories that will be treasured, lessons that will continue to guide, and a spirit that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Claudia is survived by her beloved husband Raymond Justice; daughters Lee Ann (John) Miller and Lisa (Rick) Davis; grandchildren: Rickelle Davis, Ryne (Hannah) Davis, and Rylee Davis; great-grandchildren Jolie Davis and Grayson Davis; brother-in-law Jim (Jeanie) Justice, sister-in-law Marilyn (Ron) Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her parents George Crockarell and Annie Mae (Coke) Crockarell; brother George (Madeline) Crockarell Jr.; brothers-in-law Bill (Bobbie) Justice and Steve (Becky) Justice; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and several friends.

The Justice family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in the First United Methodist Church, 52 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140. A memorial service will commence at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Dave Leckrone officiating. Private interment in Range Township Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorials in Claudia’s name may be sent to benefit the First United Methodist Church of London at the address provided above, or may also be sent to benefit the Madison Health Foundation, 210 North Main Street, London, Ohio 43140.
