Claudia Drill

Claudia Drill, a resident of Dallas, Oregon died on Monday, November 6th in Dallas. Claudia was born on December 5, 1948, in Oregon City, Oregon, the daughter of Buck and Donna Buchanan. The family moved to Dallas, Oregon in 1958. Claudia graduated from Dallas High School in 1967. Claudia married Sam Drill on December 15, 1975. Together they raised five children. In 1978 Claudia joined the family business and managed the Dallas and Monmouth Ben Franklin Stores until the late 1980's. She later worked in banking, a title company and retired from a mortgage company. Claudia loved camping and boating with her family at Billy Chinook, Big Lake and Prineville Reservoir. Claudia also loved taking trips to Cabo and Maui.
She is survived by her children, Wade (Angel) Wynia, Marc (Stephanie) Drill, Tony (Brandi) Drill and Jamee (Randy) Drill, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with sisters, Karyn and Connie and brother Rod Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, daughter, Wendi Wynia, and her parents Buck and Donna Buchanan.
A Celebration of Claudia's Life will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 1:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kindness Club or Dallas Booster Club.
