Claudia Posey Obituary
Claudia Wright Posey, age 77, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 19, 2024, after a brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. Claudia was born on October 4, 1947 in Decatur, AL to Huey and Frances Wright. She was a 1966 graduate of Decatur High School. She had a very long career with Decatur Housing Authority. Claudia married the love of her life, Gary Wayne Posey, September 16, 1994. They spent many wonderful years traveling in their RV with their dog, Sadie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Huey Wright and Frances Wright Hamilton.
Claudia is survived by her husband, Gary Posey, her daughters, Hillary Dumas, Paula Palmer (Brock) and Dana Story. Seven grandchildren: Morgan, Ethan, Tristan, Langston, Brenin, Hudson and Olivia and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Posey, Bobby Leeth, Ethan Dumas, Langston Collins, Tristan Collins, Hudson Collins.
