Claudia Toinette Sewell

Claudia Toinette Sewell, lovingly known to all as “Toni,” passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the age of 78.

Toni dedicated her life to service, working for many years as a case manager for the Louisiana court system, where she advocated for often helpless children and helped families rebuild and reclaim their lives. Her work was not just a career; it was a calling, and she approached it with compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and love of dancing. A true people person, Toni was always happiest surrounded by her many devoted and loyal friends and loved ones. Her deep faith guided her through life, and her devotion to the church was a cornerstone of who she was.

Toni is survived by her children, Kenny Arthur Jr, Kevin, Arthur, and Kelly Rider, as well as her stepchildren, Jennifer Singh and Ryan Sewell. Her legacy lives on through them and through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and wisdom.

A celebration of Toni’s life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Airline Baptist Church, 4007 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
