Claudine Davis, affectionately known as "Doll", passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 17, 2026. She was born on October 11, 1937 in Camden, Alabama to the late Ben Lewis, Sr. and Daisy Sairley Lewis. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her husband Cleophas Davis. She retired from MBI, Inc. after many years of dedicated service. She faithfully served in the following organizations of Calvary Baptist Church; Deaconess Ministry , Deacon's Ministry, The Calvary Baptist Church Senior Ushers of which she served as President for 46 years, President Emeritus of the Calvary Baptist Church, So. Norwalk, CT., Pastor's Aide Ministry, Funeral Committee and the Willing Workers and The Fairfield County Ushers , carrying out her duties with unwavering commitment and excellence. She was deeply devoted to her family and church family. She will be lovingly remembered by three daughters; Sharon Green and husband Kyle, Jacqueline Smalls and husband Ray, Joe Ann Allen and husband Mark, her son; Ronnie Lewis, God daughter ;Tami Lindo eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, her sister; Daisy Lewis, stepdaughters; Mildred Davis, Juanita Shippy, Cynthia Christy and Cheryl Davis, remaining grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her granddaughter, Sharcrystal Jenkins, five sisters; Maggie Osborne, Elizabeth Jackson, Juanita Lewis, Mary Clancy and Dorothy Lewis, six brothers; Rev. John B. Lewis, Willie Lewis, Rev. P.H. Lewis, Otis Lewis, Ben Lewis, Jr. and Assistant Minister Floyd Lewis. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 21 Concord St., Norwalk, CT. Rev. Carleton J. Giles officiant. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
