Obituary of Claudio Daniel Pastor Gonzales
Claudio Daniel Pastor Gonzales, age 61 of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Kattya Meza Dominguez of Peru, died suddenly at home on October 28, 2024. Born in Lima, Peru on January 12, 1963, he was the son of Guillermo Pastor and Victoria Gonzales De Pastor of Peru. Mr. Pastor Gonzales was raised in Lima, Peru and was a graduate of Meliton Carbajal in Lima Peru. He worked as a police officer in Peru before immigrating to the United States in 1992. Mr. Pastor Gonzales settled in Bridgeport and worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for over 20 years. He was an avid soccer player and an enthusiast of Peruvian Soccer. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a great son, brother, uncle, a very dedicated father to his son and God-kids, a great cousin, friend, a great human being in this society, and a very giving person always willing to help others. In addition to his wife of five years, he is survived by son, Nicholas Pastor of PA; stepson, Jean Franco of Lima Peru; nine siblings, Jenny Pilar of Lima Peru, Paul of Ansonia CT, Susana Mirtha of Lima Peru, Silvia Victoria of Lima Peru, David Angel of Lima Peru, Patricia Monica of Shelton CT, Roberto Edgar of Bridgeport CT, Maria Catalina of Lima Peru, Maria Carolina of Lima Peru; and several nephews, nieces and God-children. He will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may call on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM, interment will be in Lima, Peru. Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com
