In humble submission to the will of God, We the staff of Stocks Funeral Home, announce the earthly transition of Claybourne "Clay" Evans Jr. on Friday, March 24th, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service for Clay will be held Saturday, April 1st, 2023, at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 pm. Clay will lie in repose for viewing from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
These services will be recorded and streamed live. If the event is interrupted at any time due to technical issues, the entire event will be uploaded and available to view at a later day. Please see the attached link below.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be given to the Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience Center at Grady Hospital.
Directions are as follows:
-Go to www.gradyhealthfoundation.org and click on donate
-Choose "Direct my gift to" and select Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience Center
-Select that this is a memorial gift and enter the name "Claybourne Evans, Jr., as well as who you would like to receive notice that the gift was made.
Please continue to keep the Evans family in your prayers during this difficult time of grief.
