Mr. Claython Diggs of Wynne, Arkansas, died peacefully at home on Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was 86. Claython was born in Clay County, Arkansas, on November 4, 1938, to Charles Melton and Maxine Louise Rogers Diggs. He enjoyed woodworking and furniture building as his trade. He loved working on and restoring antique cars and was an avid reader. Claython served his country in the United States Navy and was a strong, proud patriot. Claython is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda McEwen Diggs of the home, daughters, Karen Diggs Kimble and husband Joey of Cherry Valley, Kristi Diggs of Wynne, son, Claython "Clay" Diggs of Ranchester, Wyoming. Visitation for Mr. Diggs will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Kernodle Funeral Home from 1 PM until 2 PM. Graveside services will follow at Cogbill Cemetery at 2 PM with Rev. Tony Wells officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Wynne Friends of Animals or to the charity of your choice.
