Daimon Diggs Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Snellville on Mar. 4, 2026.
Daimon Max Diggs passed away on February 25, 2026, in Atlanta Georgia. He was born on March 24, 1968, in Harlem New York and was lovingly shaped by his grandmother, Lucille Diggs, his aunt Dottie M. Diggs, and raised by his mother, Sharon E. Diggs.

Daimon was a devoted husband to Gina and a loving father to all those he claimed as his own-Ceshia, Shayla, Dylan, Jordan, Daniel, and Ava. He is survived by his siblings Shon A. Hughes and Allen Jr. Baker and was preceded in death by his dearly beloved brother, Tracy R. Diggs.

Daimon lived the meaning of the dash between the day he arrived and the day he left this earth. On his best days and his hardest days, he gave love, strength, and purpose, touching countless lives in ways that will continue to grow. He was "Digger" to his homies, "Buster" to a younger generation of family, and a mentor, coach, friend to most. His perspective was so vast that even without trying, you learned something simply by being in his presence.

For the last 16 years, Daimon time and time again beat terminal cancer by how he lived, why he lived, and in the manner in which he lived-on his terms. More of his story is shared in his own words through his feature in Sager Strong Foundation: https://sagerstrongfoundation.org/daimons-story/

We invite you to share a memory, message, or story through the digital remembrance keepsake button. Submissions close on his birthday, March 24, 2026. Your words will help carry his light forward.

His family thanks everyone for their love, prayers, support and release him to Rest well, pain-free in paradise. A small local gathering to celebrate his life will be held on March 6, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. In his memory, loved ones are invited to wear a hint of green-symbolizing hope, healing, and the love he planted in all of us, and more deeply representing his hometown community in San Diego, California.
