Clayton Magee Obituary
Clayton is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Witmer Magee; his daughter, Ellen Magee; and granddaughter, Kendra Magee.
Clayton served his country in the U.S. Army; he is a purple heart recipient from his service in Vietnam. He also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and graduated from Mansfield University. Clayton retired from the Social Security Administration where he worked for 30+ years. He volunteered at various political offices when he lived in New Market, MD. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Louisburg. Clayton was an avid reader.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Louisburg United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Louisburg, NC.

We were friends with Clayton for over fifty years. He would always do whatever he could to help someone and always approached life in a calm and optimistic manner. He was proud of his military service, loved animals and more than anything loved his family. Although not in the best of health the past several years he would make the trek to Pennsylvania in March for the high school basketball championships. We looked forward to his yearly visit and when we last talked a few weeks ago he said that he planned to come this year. He was a good friend who will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
