Clayton Whittenton Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Clayton Dale Whittenton was born on August 26, 1958, and went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2025, just days before his 67th birthday. Clayton was a retired crane operator. He was devoted to his wife and a true, loyal friend to everyone he met.

He loved riding his Harley Davidson until he was no longer physically able. Clayton was a man of many words and a little rough around the edges, but he loved deeply and wholeheartedly.

Clayton is survived by his son Jason (Casey); his daughters Amanda (Jason Moore), Angel (Daniel), and Destiny (Will); and his grandchildren, Jason Lee, Jonathan, Brendan, and Emmett; and grandchildren by love, Jillian, Payton, Tre, and Travis. He is also survived by his sisters, Chris Harvey and Jerri Delapp, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie; his father Emmett; his mother Patricia; his brother Greg; and his brothers-in-law Rick Gray and Dale Delapp.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to his hospice nurse, Lynne Mahony, whose kindness, compassion, and care brought great comfort to Clayton and his loved ones during his final journey. Lynne has walked beside this family for many years, having also cared for his beloved wife Connie and his mother-in-law, and she will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Clayton will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
