Clemencia Perez Andrade, 90, of Chelsea, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home on October 8, 2025. She was born on November 12, 1934, in Guatemala, and came to the United States 58 years ago, beginning her journey in Queens, New York, before settling in Chelsea in 1993.
Clemencia was a woman of strength, resilience, and deep love. Known affectionately as a "tough cookie with a sweet heart," she lived life with passion and joy. She loved to dance, celebrate, and make every gathering feel special. Her hard work and courage paved the way for her family to build new lives in this country - a legacy of love and determination that continues to inspire all who knew her.
In 2001, Clemencia married Carlos Andrade, whom she met in New York. Together they shared many years filled with laughter, devotion, and companionship.
She is survived by her children Roberto Reyes, Douglas Reyes, and Patricia Reyes, along with her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her many cherished pets. Her family will forever remember her elegance, humor, and love - especially her fondness for fur coats, which was fitting for someone with such a bold and unique spirit.
