Clementina Congionti

Clementina Congionti, a cherished matriarch and beacon of love and tradition, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, in North Salem, New York, at the age of 99. Born on August 26, 1925, in Abruzzi, Italy, Clementina's life was marked by love and unwavering dedication to her family.
Clementina's journey led her from Italy to New York, where she established a loving home with her beloved late husband, Victor Congionti who passed away in 2019. Together, they nurtured a family that included their devoted children, Gianna Scipioni and her husband Anthony, Maria Martino and her husband Rocco, and Louis Congionti and his wife Silvana. Her memory will be cherished by her adoring grandchildren Victor, Americo, Anthony, Paul, Robert, Victor, Mark, Dominic, Paul, and Marisa, as well as her many great-grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness.
Clementina embraced the role of homemaker with passion and skill. Her home was a welcoming haven where the aroma of delicious food and the laughter of family gatherings filled the air. Clementina's love for gardening and sewing was surpassed only by her joy in cooking and baking for family and friends. Her grandchildren, the greatest joy of her life, will carry forward the cherished memories of her stories and the warmth of her kitchen.
Clementina's legacy is one of love, family, and the celebration of her rich Italian heritage. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as the heart of her family.
Family and friends may gather for visitation prior to the service on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cargain Funeral Home, 418 Route 6 (GPS US-6), Mahopac, NY.
A Prayer Service and Blessing to honor and celebrate Clementina's life will take place at 10:00 a.m. following the visitation at Cargain Funeral Home.
Following the service, Clementina will be escorted to her final resting place alongside her beloved husband, Victor, at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
