Clementine C. Nemeth (Clem), took the divine retirement plan on January 26, 2026. The daughter of Kenneth and Frances Campbell, she was born in Williamsport, PA, in 1938. When she was young her family moved to New Jersey where she grew up. In May of 1962 she married the love of her life, Steve, they lived in Edison and raised two daughters. Clem worked at Rutgers University as a bookkeeper before retiring. When not at work, Clem could be found gardening, knitting, cross-stitching, helping at the church or spending time with friends and family.
After retiring, Steve and Clem enjoyed travelling to many places; with fond memories of seeing the Vatican in Italy, Lourdes in France, California, and Tennessee. They moved to Pennsylvania in 1998 to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. They continued to be active in their church. In 2009, they moved to Dilworth to be closer to their grandchildren, enjoying family time every chance they got, whether that was a summer backyard get together, T-ball game, road trip to Medora, the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore, baseball game, soccer, flag football, swim meet, band concert, or Eagle Scout ceremony. Clem also remained active at St. Elizabeth’s, frequently joined for coffee after mass, and enjoyed her “ladies Thursday afternoon” weekly gatherings.
Clem is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Todd) May of Horace, grandchildren, Zack and Samantha (Asher) Kranz, and several nephews and nieces. Clem is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Steve; her daughter, Gail; brother, Kenneth; sister, Toni; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., followed by the prayer service at 7:00 P.M., Friday, January 30, 2026, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
