Cleo Jane (Lehman) Clark of Butler, PA, went to be with the Lord on October 8, at Butler Memorial Hospital, at the age of 88. Cleo was born on June 15, 1937 in New Bremen, NY to Elmer Z and Rosella (Roggie) Lehman. She was a lifelong learner who earned a Master's in Nursing and spent her career caring for others. She last worked as a professor at Butler Community College. She was known as a patient, insightful, and empathetic leader.
Cleo was a role model to her family and a beloved friend to many. She will be remembered for her quiet thoughtfulness and gentle nature. She loved her pets like children, was a passionate collector of dolls from around the world, and loved to decorate her warm and welcoming home for Christmas. She was a faithful follower of Christ who attended North Main Street Church of God, where she led Bible studies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Clark, her parents, four brothers, Gilbert and Esther (Roggie) Lehman, Larry and Joan (Steiner) Lehman and Milton and Ruby (Williams) Lehman, Elmer and Eileen (Zehr) Lehman; a sister Dolores Zehr, a sister and brother-in-law, Jay and Ella Mae Lehman, her brother-in-law Arnold Moshier, an infant sister Beulah; and three nephews: Lloyd Lehman, Richard Lehman and Francis Lehman. She is survived by her sister Maietta Moshier, her brother-in-law Michael Zehr, many nieces, nephews, friends, and her Pekinese Bitsy, all of whom she showered with love and who miss her and loved her dearly.
