Cletis Alexander Bailey Jr., age 67, passed away on December 19, 2025.
Cletis was a resident of McDonald, Tennessee, and a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures and the beauty of the outdoors. A true motorcycle enthusiast, Cletis loved working on motorcycles as much as riding them, finding peace and freedom on the open road. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time outside, nurturing both his plants and his appreciation for nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cletis Bailey Sr. and Dorothy Joyce Bailey.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Betty Joyce Courtney Bailey; step-son, Thomas (Lisa) Courtney; daughter, Eirlys Mary Mae Bailey; step-daughter, Dusty (Stevie) James; siblings, Sandra (Frank) Hendrick, Robert (Esther) Bailey, and Mark (Pat) Bailey; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; cousin, Paul (Julie) Bailey; and aunt, Nancy (Pete) Bryant, along with many other loved ones and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an animal shelter of your choice in honor of Cletis's memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
