Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - ClevelandDonna Bennett, age 71, went home peacefully to be with her Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving
family.
Donna was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and later made
Cleveland, Tennessee her home. It was there that she built lifelong
friendships and created treasured memories with family and friends.
Donna spent her final working years with Life Bridges, where she
faithfully served individuals with disabilities. She had a true servant's
heart and found great joy in caring for others. Donna never met a
stranger and had a special gift for making everyone she encountered
feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
Above all else, Donna loved her family. Her grandchildren were the
light of her life, and she poured her love into each of them. Her
warmth, kindness, and open arms will be deeply missed by all who
knew her.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Michael) Blackwell; her
sons, Paul Foley and Brandon (Jennifer) Foley; her grandchildren,
Dakota (Erica), Nakoma, Jessie (Chelsea), Zack, Jacob, Joey, Skylar,
and Levi; and her great-granddaughter, Emery. She is also survived
by her mother, Dorothy Hughes, and her sister, Cindy (David) Aloe.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil; her stepfather, Jim;
her brothers, Rick and Gary; and her sister, Debbie.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who
have offered their love, prayers, support, and kindness during this
difficult time. Your thoughts, words of comfort, and acts of compassion
have meant more than words can express.
