Cliff, as he was affectionately known, lived a life marked by dedication, service, and craftsmanship. A proud Army veteran, he served his country with honor and integrity. His legacy also includes his contribution to one of the most iconic vessels in Great Lakes history-Cliff helped build the SS Edmund Fitzgerald freighter, a testament to his skill and commitment to American industry.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Ann Abrams (née Schubert), with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Cliff was a devoted father to his son Andrew Abrams (Gayle Hill), and a cherished grandfather to Curtis Abrams and Justin Abrams. His family was his pride and joy.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford H. Abrams and Alice Abrams (née Bloom), and his sons, Alan Abrams and Adam Abrams. Though he endured profound loss, Cliff remained a pillar of strength and compassion to those around him.
He will be remembered for his quiet wisdom, his unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he held for his family, his country, and the work of his hands.
