A viewing for Clifford Barnes will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma.
Clifford F. Barnes was born August 25, 1954 in Bakersfield, California to Bobby Gene Barnes and Martha Lucille (Rowan) Barnes. He passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 70.
Clifford was a longtime resident of Cromwell, Oklahoma. He and Joyce Vaught were married, May 17, 1985 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Clifford worked many years as a bridge supervisor before retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and, more than all, spending time with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Susan Lay and two grandsons, Calvin and Chase Casteel.
Survivors include the love of his life, Joyce (Vaught) Barnes; one brother, Donald Barnes (Linda) of Cromwell; four sons, Michael D. Barnes of Kellyville, Clifford E. Barnes (Sheila) of Kellyville, Michael F. Barnes of Cromwell and Lonnie Barnes of Kellyville; two daughters, Stacey Born (Robert) of Collinsville, Texas and Ashley Cooper (Robert) of Little, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Pat & I and our whole family feel a deep sorrow for the passing of Cliff, the Father of our Daughter-In -Law Stacey and Grandfather to her daughter Kaiya. We especially want to express our feeling of sadness to Joyce at her great loss. Wish we could be there to celebrate his life with his family and friends.
