Clifford Phillip Bidwell, 82, a lifelong resident of Athens, TN passed away early Monday morning, March 16, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Athens, TN on May 9, 1943 a son of the Luddie and Maggie Bidwell. He enjoyed collecting, watching tv and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Sally Bidwell, one granddaughter Makenzie Biddwell, sisters Juanita Bidwell, Carolyn Bidwell and Barbara Jean Bidwell.
Clifford leaves behind to cherish his memory six children Angie Broglin (Rodney), Randy Bidwell (Vickie), David Bidwell, Lou Childs (Carson), Gene Biddwell (Jennifer) and Sandy Velazquez, two sisters Mary Massengill and Louise Randolph (Nickey), one brother Ernie Bidwell and several cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will gather privately to say goodbye and share memories together.
