Clifford Gilbert

Clifford Gilbert, 68 of Linefork, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at his residence. Clifford was the son of Lillian Akemon of Linefork and the late Sam Gilbert. Surviving other than his mother are his wife: Lesia Roark Gilbert; 1 son: John Christopher (Kendra) Gilbert of Linefork; 1 daughter: Melissa Rose (Mickey Dale) Ison of Linefork; 1 brother: Sam (Kaye) Gilbert of Kingscreek; 2 sisters: Henrietta (Andy) Howard of Greasy Creek and Tootie (Roy David) Roark of Hallie; 2 grandchildren: Brandon Jo Gilbert and Maliyah Rose Ison along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Clifford was preceded in death by his step-dad: Henry Akemon; 2 sisters: Vickie Lynn Baker and Margie Samalene Gibson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 O'clock A.M. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Kingdom Come Old Regular Baptist Church with Roger Fields and Wallace Bolling officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Linefork, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. on Friday, March 13, 2026, and all day Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Kingdom Come Old Regular Baptist Church.
