He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Brite Wells, and his granddaughter, Hailey Stafford.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 23 years; Tammy Wyatt Montes, father; Charles Goddertz of New York City; his three daughters, Aliember Goeddertz, Trisha Thompkins, and Kimberly Montes, all of Placedo, Texas; his sister, Debbie Higginbotham and husband Dale of Waxahachie, Texas; and numerous grandchildren.
Clifford was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved gardening, the outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his family and many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A small Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date by the family.
It is our honor at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home to serve the Goeddertz family. We extend our deepest condolences and prayers for peace and comfort during this time of loss.
