CLIFFORD ANDREW JACKSON, a beloved father, gently departed this world on January 8, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on August 2, 1961, in the bustling heart of Dallas, Texas, where he would later create a lifetime of rich memories and enduring connections.
Clifford's professional journey as a train conductor for DART was not merely a job; it was a vocation that brought him joy and satisfaction as he dutifully served his community. His colleagues admired him for his unwavering commitment and passion for ensuring that every passenger’s journey was a safe and pleasant one. With an innate kindness and an ever-ready smile, he calmly navigated the complexities of his role, embodying the spirit of service.
Though his formal education consisted of some college, Clifford possessed an innate wisdom and empathy that enriched the lives of those who crossed his path. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, making them feel seen and valued. Friends described him as the gentle giant with a soft heart, always offering words of encouragement and support.
His life was beautifully intertwined with that of his beloved children: Lakendrick, Jasmine, Janay, and Ladarryl. Each one of them carried a piece of his spirit, holding on to the lessons he imparted and the love he generously gave. He took great pride in being their father, pouring his heart into nurturing their dreams and aspirations.
Clifford was also adored by his grandchildren, whose laughter filled his home and brightened his world. As a devoted friend and family member, he cherished the time spent with relatives and friends, creating bonds that transcended generations.
As we celebrate his life, we invite those who knew him to join in remembrance at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. There will be a viewing on January 24, 2025, from noon until 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on January 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. Together, we can honor a man whose legacy will continue to inspire all who loved him.
Clifford Andrew Jackson’s journey may have ended, but the warmth of his spirit, the strength of his love, and the echoes of his laughter will forever dwell in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate the tracks of our own lives.
