Clifford B. Kast, 85, of Sedalia passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at MU Health Care Capital Regional in Jefferson City, MO. He was born on December 24, 1940, in Brush, CO, the son of Charles Frederick Kast and Myrtle Tressa (Pfeiffer) Kast, who preceded him in death.
On November 27, 1959, in Sedalia, MO, he was united in marriage to Janice Sue Riecke, who preceded him in death on December 15, 2021.
Cliff is survived by a son, Kelvin Kast of Sedalia; a daughter, Kendra Baslee and her husband Mitch, of Lincoln, MO; six grandchildren, Keila Mitcham (Zeb), Kellie Goff (Cody), Kyle Baslee, Kelsie Baslee, Kara Baslee, and Kena Jeffrey (Alex); seven great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Kloee, Karter, Karmen, Kendyll, Kasten, and Kale.
In addition to his wife Janice, Cliff was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Robinson.
There will be no formal service held per Cliff's wishes.
Cremation care is entrusted to Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
