So very sorry to hear of Cliff's passing. I worked with Cliff for the last 15 years of his career at Givaudan. Cliff was a mentor to me as a lead on third shift. He was, by far, the most knowledgeable person I ever worked with. If there was an issue we couldn't solve, we asked Cliff.
But that isn't what I remember most about my friend, Cliff. I remember his wit. He was one of the funniest people I've ever met, with a very fast comeback to anything that was said. He not only taught us, but also entertained us for many years.
All of my thoughts and prayers to Cliff's family. He spoke very, very often of his dear wife, children and grandchildren. I almost felt like I knew Karen from all of the times he would talk about her and his family. He was definitely a family man above all else. They don't make them like Cliff any more.
RIP my friend.
