Clifford Ray Ryner, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away on March 4, 2026, at his home in Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living. He was under the care of Symbii Hospice.
Ray was born on July 9, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Eldon Clifford Ryner and Norma Mae Hunt Ryner. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.
On March 1, 1972, he married his sweetheart, Brenna Joyce Russell, in Idaho Falls. To this union, one child was born. The family stayed in Idaho Falls. Ray worked as a truck driver, a custodian at Skyline High School, and as a bellhop/maintenance at Red Lion Hotel. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed Fishing, camping, and loved to have BBQ’s with the family.
Ray was very loved and surrounded by his family all the time. He enjoyed listening to classical country music. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Brenna Ryner; son, Eldon (Sarah) Ryner; Step-granddaughters: Kayla Kayser and Caitlynn Kayser; step-great-grandchildren: Octavia Carlson, Harry Carlson, Charlotte Rasmussen, and Atlus Quintero; and his brother, Larry Ryner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Norma Ryner, and his sister, Linda Ryner.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., March 13, 2026, at the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.coltrinmortuary.com.
