Clifford H. Spencer
Age 74 of New Lenox, IL passed away at home on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Cliff was born in Joliet, IL to the late Herbert and Florence (nee Schwab) Spencer.
Loving father of Brooke (Josh) Spencer and Nicole Semplinski; proud grandfather of Mason Spencer; loved brother of Lynn (Gary) Donisch and Arlene (the late Mark) Laraway
Cliff was a lifelong Joliet/New Lenox area resident. He was employed at Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet, IL for over 40 years, retiring as General Manager. Cliff was a sensitive, soft-spoken, kind, compassionate person that took wonderful care of many Joliet area families at their time of need. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he loved animals. Cliff will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Thank you to all of the wonderful people at Tom Kelly's who started out as friends and became part of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cliff's name to your local humane society would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 3pm - 8pm. Funeral services will be Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.

Cliff and I became friends while attending Washington Jr. High.
Over many years we would see each other at burial services for my family and friends at Elmhurst Cemetery.
I will never forget that friendship.
To the Spencer family my warmest and most heartfelt condolences.
May our Lord keep you and Bless you in your time of grief.
