Clifford H. Zeinert

Clifford H. Zeinert, age 97, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Prairie Home Assisted Living in Menasha. On December 19, 1926, Clifford Harold was born to Paul and Mary (Terp) Zeinert in Neenah, Wisconsin. Following high school, Cliff enlisted in the United States Army serving in the 26th Infantry Regiment 1st Division and was a member of the American Legion for 75 years. Cliff had retired after 41 years of employment with the United States Post Office. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah and was an Usher for 55 years. When he was able, Cliff loved travelling out west as he loved seeing the mountains and going on train rides. He also enjoyed spending time in Door County, especially at the cottage in Sturgeon Bay or at Grandma's in Riley Bay. He liked to camp, enjoying the nature around him, eating his favorite Swedish pancakes and bacon and then going on the ferry to Washington Island.
Cliff will be greatly missed by his nephews and niece: Paul (Lisa) Zeinert, Kandis Zeinert, and Danny (Diane) Zeinert; his great-nephews and great-nieces: Sara, Bob (Amanda), Andy, David, Aimee, Malaree (Jason), Natalee (Dennis), and Rilee (Alexis); as well as 7 great-great nephews and nieces; neighbors and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Loretta; and his brother, Ralph (Barbara) Zeinert.
The Funeral for Cliff will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Kessler Fahrenkrug Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, WI 54956. Military Honors will be conducted following the service by the Neenah-Menasha Funeral Honors Team. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery,
