Clifteen Trahan Obituary
ABBEVILLE - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, May 05, 2025 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Clifteen "Cliffy" Trahan, 68, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at her residence. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Gooch II, Austin Willis, Nathan Gary, Gavin Perry, Weston Landry, and Ian Landry.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., Abbeville, on Monday, May 05, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and wonder. A true nurturer at heart, she found beauty in the simplest things; watching birds from her patio, tending to her beloved plants and cherishing time with her family and friends, whom she loved deeply. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel the world with her husband, but it was Mars Hill in Athens, Greece that held the deepest place in her heart. In every season of her life, she carried a gentle strength and a faith that never wavered, touching the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, George J. Trahan; daughters, Jessica Romero and Jill Landry and her husband, Seth; grandsons, Weston, Ian, and Bane; granddaughters, Maddie and Morgan; brother, Terry Lambert; sisters, Neta Clostio, Dana Vollmer, and Angela Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William George Lambert and the former Rosa “Rose” Mae Bourque; sister, Billie Major; brothers, Mark Lambert and Leon Lambert; son-in-law, Troy Romero; half sisters, Linda Gayle Whitaker and Sallie Robertson; and half brothers, Billy Dan Lambert, Curtis Lambert, and Lyman Lambert.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice team at Southern Grace Hospice for their care and support.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville (337) 893-4661.
