Mr. Clifton Burton Ingram Sr., 78, passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital on Wednesday January 17, 2024. He was born to the late Forney Hurst Ingram and India Isabel Huffman Ingram on December 28, 1945, in Lafayette County, MS. Clifton loved going to the lake, boating, and camping. He enjoyed music and playing baritone in the community bands. He retired from Wake Forest Baptist Hospital after 32 years of service. Clifton also served in the United Sates Air Force. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Forney Ingram Jr “Buddy” and Isom Irvin Ingram. Clifton is survived by his wife Judy Hicks Ingram; children Clifton Jr (Melissa), Rosemary (Trip), and Shelley (Josh); five grandkids; seven great grandkids; and brother John Charles (Margaret) Ingram. A memorial service will be held at the Robert F. Miller Center located at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek on Saturday January 27, 2024, at 2pm with Christopher Ingram officiating. The family will receive friends the hour prior at Hayworth-Miller.
