Clinton proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, a period of his life that instilled in him a sense of discipline and honor that he carried throughout his days. After his military service, he returned to his roots in Texas and channeled his analytical mind into the realm of business. For over three decades, Clinton owned and operated his own abstract company, Wadell, where his intelligence and attention to detail were the cornerstones of his professional success.
Clinton's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. An expert fisherman, he found solace and joy in the quiet moments by the water, a pastime that he often shared with his beloved family. His adventurous spirit was not only found in his outdoor pursuits but also in his approach to life, always ready to explore new horizons and embrace the beauty of the world around him.
Family was the cornerstone of Clinton's world. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Garrett, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories. He is survived by his sons, Gary Garrett and his wife Debbie, and Curtis Garrett; his grandson, Chris Garrett; granddaughter-in-law, Daphne Garrett; and his great-grandsons, Cade and Talen Garrett, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. Clinton's legacy also lives on through his sister, Sharon Garrett Brown, and he is fondly remembered by his deceased parents and several siblings who passed before him.
