Clinton A. Price Jr., a devoted family man and cherished Chicago Cubs fan, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, in Evansville, Indiana. Born on January 18, 1956, in Eldorado, Illinois, Clinton’s life was marked by deep commitment to those he loved and a passion for the game that captivated the hearts of many.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Price, and their two sons, Eli Price and Ian Price, who carry forward his legacy with pride and love. Clinton also found great joy in his role as a grandfather to Brooklyn Price and Logan Price, whose lives he enriched with his warmth and kindness.
Clinton was preceded in death by his dear parents, Betty Price and Clinton Price Sr., whose memories he treasured throughout his life.
A visitation to honor Clinton’s memory will be held on March 26, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Cox & Son Funeral Home Ridgway, located at 209 S Jarrell Street in Ridgway, Illinois. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 1:30 p.m. at the same location.
The family will then lay Clinton to rest at Palestine Cemetery #2 in Omaha, Illinois. The burial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., concluding by approximately 4:00 p.m.
Clinton's devotion to his family was the cornerstone of his life, and his passion for the outdoors brought additional warmth and kindness to all who knew him, yet his spirit remains alive in the hearts of his surviving family members.
