Clint Stevenson passed away at home in Santa Rosa California at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family. Born in a farmhouse just outside of Columbus, Nebraska, and raised in Richland Nebraska, Clint was the eldest of four boys, his brothers included Rolland, Charles Roy and Lloyd.
Clint served in the US Air Force April 4, 1951 until the Fall of 1953, including a stint in Korea.
While in Hawthorne CA for training, Clint met his future wife, Jean. He and Jean were married November 20th, 1954.
Clint and Jean had two daughters, Kathy and Lori, and moved to Santa Rosa in spring 1966. They joined Bethlehem Lutheran Church after a few months, and he remained active in the church for the rest of his life. Clint retired from Pacific Bell in 1984 after 25 years of service, and was hired immediately by Hewlett-Packard, from which he retired in 1996.
Jean passed away September 2, 2002. Clint knew Shirley Lea through Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They began dating and married April 16, 2005. They were married until Shirley's passing on April 9th, 2025.
Clint is survived by his daughters Kathy (Doug), Lori (Paul), brothers Charles Roy, Lloyd (Margaret) and grandchildren Melanie, Colin, Michelle, and great-grandchildren Christian, Elliott, Nathan, Aaron, August, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on December 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Santa Rosa with a reception following in the Parish Center.
