With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clinton "Pretts" Strong, beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left this world on January 5, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on February 25, 1976, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Clinton's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
Clinton was the cherished son of Scott and Rosalinda Davis, who instilled in him the values of kindness, hard work, and integrity. Growing up in Milwaukee, he developed a deep love for his community, which he carried with him throughout his life. He was a beacon of light to those around him, known for his infectious smile and generous spirit.
As a father, Clinton was unparalleled. He devoted himself to his children, raising them with a steadfast commitment to their happiness and growth. He is survived by his sons, Anthony and Joelle Strong, and his daughter Mariah Armstrong. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Kyle Armstrong and daughter-in-law Bernice Strong, who brought joy and pride to his life. Clinton's love for his family extended to his grandchildren, Anthony Strong Jr. (AJ) and Kyle Armstrong Jr. (KJ), who brought him immense happiness and laughter. His legacy will live on through them.
Clinton also leaves behind his loving brothers, Roberto and David Strong. Clinton's parents, Scott and Rosalinda Davis, continue to hold him close in their hearts as they navigate this profound loss.
In addition to his human family, Clinton was a devoted pet owner, sharing his home with his beloved pets, Rocky and Camila. These furry companions brought him comfort and companionship, filling his days with love and loyalty.
Clinton's life was enriched by the presence of many relatives and friends, including his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, who all cherished the moments shared with him. HIs warm heart and open arms were a sanctuary for many, making him a pillar of support in times of need.
A private funeral service to honor Clinton's life will be held on January 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Milwaukee, WI, where family and close friends will gather to celebrate the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind. While we mourn his passing, we also rejoice in the memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
As we remember Clinton, let us carry forward his spirit of generosity, love, and compassion. His legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Clinton I. Strong will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
