Former Phillipsburg resident Clinton Ernest White passed away November 23rd, 2025 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home of McCook, NE at the age of 95.

Clinton was born January 24, 1930 in Agra, KS the son of Ernest Albert White and Ruth Emergene White.

He was married on October 28, 1950 to Mildred (Millie) Marie Lawson. Together they had 4 children, LeAnn, Jerry (J.D.), Katherine, and Dianne.

Clinton grew up on the family farm west of Agra. He was very proud to be the 3rd generation to continue his family legacy on this land that was homesteaded in 1872.

The farm remains in the family to this day.

He loved being on the farm and especially working with cattle. Many years he raised prized polled Herefords. It was his life, but unfortunately later on he needed to let it go.

He wasn't sure what the next season would be but he was able to get on with Kyle Railroad and worked there for 10 years.

After retirement he began mowing lawns for many in the community of Phillipsburg.

During the winter and spring's months he worked at Whites Foodliner. He continued working well into his 80's.

Each year when the chill of the fall came, out came the chainsaw and off he went to cut wood. He loved being out in the woods and enjoying nature.

Clinton didn't even have a wood stove or fireplace he just did it for fun! He sold some, but most of it went to those who could really use it to warm their homes.

May he most be remembered for his love for his Heavenly Father, as it was evident in his love for his family, love for his community and love for the church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Millie, his parents Ernest and Emergene White, sister Carol Ragsdale, and son-in-law Larry Koelzer.

Survivors include his brother Ron White of Lewisville TX, daughter LeAnn Hunt & husband Randy of Manheim, PA, son J.D. White & wife Kathy of McCook, NE, daughter Katherine Stoneman & husband Mike of Blue Springs, MO, and daughter Dianne Koelzer of Savannah, MO. Also leaving behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life services will be held on January 17, 2025 in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Phillipsburg, with Tony Hunt officiating.

Time of services, visitation and memorial details to be announced.
