Cloise E. "Skeeter" Bothman, 60, of Chillicothe passed 4:27 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born March 28, 1965 in Columbus to Elmo and Judith (McBride) Bothman.
On November 10, 1994, he married the love of his life, the former Trudi Mckee, who survives. Together they celebrated 30 wonderful years.
Also surviving is his mother Judith Cupp, of Chillicothe; son Daniel Bothman; grandchildren, Gabriel Bothman, Makayla and Makyiah Walton; Brother Brad Bothman; Sisters, Crissy (Keith) Underwood, Jamie (Adam) Lawson, and Sophia Bothman Underwood; Brothers-in law Gary (Lisa) Mckee, Ryan (Rhonda) Payne, Donald Payne Jr., Tim Payne (Judy) Sr. and sister-in-law Lachona Mckee. As well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Kyle Carlton; father Elmo Bothman; sister Kelly Graves; stepfather Keith Cupp; brother-in-law Charlie Mckee and nephew Chistopher Payne.
Cloise was a United States Army Veteran and spent his life as a dedicated, hardworking individual. He was a carpenter with a passion and skill in drywall. He loved his dogs he has had through the years. He enjoyed watching the Reds and Buckeyes with his brother.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday June 30, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery with Military Rites given by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday.
