Cloteen "Tina" Vanderpool

Cloteen "Tina" Daniel Vanderpool, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Spring Arbor Senior Living, Raeford.
She was born February 14, 1942, in Kentucky, daughter of the late Donald Huntfree Daniel, Sr. and Julia Sloan Daniel.
Tina worked many years as a seamstress and fashioned many costumes and outfits for dance studios, cheer teams, as well as pageant attire, especially for her beloved granddaughter, Amber. Making clothes for her grandchildren gave her great joy. Tina loved her sewing business and took great pride in her work.
Being a woman of great faith, for many years she worked hard and served the Lord as a pastor's wife and loved helping others. Throughout her life, Tina spent 27 years as an Army wife to her husband, Raymond, and they traveled and lived all over the world. She truly believed in the red, white, and blue. Tina especially loved her time spent in Germany.
Of the many loves in her life, nothing was more precious to her than her family. She and her husband were married for 52 years prior to his death and she dearly loved him. Tina had a heart for everyone and her family was always at the top of the list, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Vanderpool; son, Charles Raymond Vanderpool; granddaughter, Kristen Vanderpool; brothers, Rosco Edward Daniel and Donald Huntfree Daniel, Jr.; and sister, Ruth Briggs.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Georgetta Vanderpool of Rockingham; granddaughter that she raised, Amber Vanderpool (Bobby Gallimore) of Lilesville; grandchildren, Matthew Del Valle of Concord, Brandon Del Valle of Rockingham, and Charlise Vanderpool of Lincolnton; great grandchildren, Corbin Vanderpool, Brix Campbell, and Brendan Del Valle; and sisters, Erma Darnell of Kentucky and Donna Ritter of Asheboro.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, beginning at 10:00am at Gum Springs Baptist Church, Lilesville, with Pastor Rick Cooke officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, beginning at 1:00pm at Richmond County Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Cooke officiating. Interment will follow the service.
