Clyde was a 1945 graduate of Warriors Mark high school. After graduating he served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, he received the National Defense Service Medal as well as the Good Conduct Medal.
Clyde was a gentle, kind, loving husband and father, he appreciated everyone and everything. No matter how he felt, he told you "thank you, and always told you he "loved you"
He truly loved the Lord, he attended New Hope until his health deteriorated.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two loving children, Leslie D Wright and her husband William of Bellefonte and Stephen K. Bickle and his wife Jayne of Bellefonte, five grandchildren, Kate Wright, Steven Wright, Emma Niebauer (Wright) James Bickle and Matthew Bickle. Also surviving are one sister Barbara Crawford of Boalsburg and one brother George Bickle of Bellefonte. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Marjorie Watkins, Richard Bickle, Margaret Bickle, Betty Williams, Nancy Dickson and Mona Condo
A memorial service (celebration of life) will be held on Thursday Dec 4th 2025 at 12 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. Bellefonte, with Pastor Bob Dornan officiating. Full military honors will be held at the funeral home following the memorial service. Internment will be held at Zion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice in memory of Jim.
