Clyde Ashley Bordeaux, born March 11, 1950 in Bladen County, NC passed peacefully at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Tharp “Soup” and Eunice Hayes Bordeaux. One brother, Floyd Bordeaux.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa Ward Bordeaux. Sons; Archie Bordeaux (Ashley) and Tharp “Stumpy” Bordeaux (Amber). Grandchildren, Wadeyn, Tucker, Danica, Maelee, and Jack Baylor. He had one grand dog, Freddie Mac.
Clyde was an army veteran and received 3 Purple Hearts.
He enjoyed watching his boys grow up to be the fine young men they are.
On any day, Clyde could be found making his way around Dublin. Gerald’s, Richard’s, Archie’s shop and Stumpy’s house were a few of his favorite places. He always made his way back home to take his afternoon nap, before picking up his grandkids from school.
Teresa made sure she took care of all his needs, to include nightly suppers.
Clyde was known for his sense of humor and if he joked with you, you knew he liked you.
We have peace knowing he is in heaven with his Momma and Daddy, eating all the ice cream heaven has to offer.
