Donna Kaye Oldham Field, 77, of Bladenboro passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 2, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alton Oldham and Thelma Gooch Oldham, beloved husband Chuck Field, one sister, Helen Ellis, and great granddaughter Maddie Parnell.
Donna was a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She cherished her time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite time of year was Christmas when all the family gathered to share in love and laughter. At other times, she enjoyed a good Bingo game, cooking, word searches or crafting. She was always engaged in something and kept busy most days, but she welcomed an annual trip to the beach or the mountains. Her devotion to her family and compassion shared with all will forever remain in the hearts of those that love her dearly and will miss her immensely.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Mark Hester (Melba) of Shannon, Jeffrey Field of Michigan, daughters Donna Lynn Parnell (Andy) of the home, Wendy Hester of Tennessee, and Jennifer Taylor (Frankie) of Bladenboro, sister Becky Ann Oldham (John) of Greensboro, nine grandchildren Joshua Parnell, Zachary Parnell, John McPherson, Marcus Hester (Alanna), Aaron Hester, Chase Taylor (Katie), Lauren Taylor, MaKayla Mote (Josh), and Brooklynn Field and six great grandchildren Tristian Parnell, Channing Sanderson, Jacob Sanderson, Kaisley Taylor, Presley Taylor, and Colton Sykes.
The family will receive friends from 6-6:45 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7pm at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
