Clyde Day Obituary
Clyde Day, 97, of Union, Kentucky, passed away Sunday morning February 1, 2026, at the Masonic Home, Louisville.
Clyde was born on March 3, 1928, in Bromley, Kentucky to the late Frank and Reba (Crowder) Day. He was a retired Electrician for I.B.E.W Local # 212; a member of Lakeside Christian Church, Lakeside Park, KY; and a member and Past Master of the former Unity Masonic Lodge F & AM # 478. He was an inductee in the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame and the Ludlow High School Sports Hall of Fame.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia M. (Hill) Day in 2012; his parents, Frank and Reba Day; sister, Vira Hayes; and brothers, Frank Day, John Day and Kyle Day.
Survivors include his daughter, Staci (Cotty) England; son, Kyle (Michele) Day; brother-in-law, Carmen Trotta; sister-in-law, Eilene Day; six grandchildren, Josh (Kasey) Day, Emily (Bryan) Hester, Allison (Gus) Murray, Zach Day, Bryce (Abby) England, and Rachael (Brayden) Brown; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation is 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 3614 Dixie Hwy., Erlanger. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Erlanger.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Lakeside Christian Church, 195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY 41017.
