Clyde served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963, where he received medals for good conduct and as an expert rifleman. He always had a great sense of humor with his grandchildren. Clyde enjoyed his time taking the grandchildren camping and fishing for just a day or over the weekend. That was a passion for him as he loved them dearly.
Clyde was an avid outdoorsman and loved to travel. Some of his favorite places to visit were Alaska, Montana, Washington and Southern Utah. Clyde was a skilled craftsman, he took pride in his work as a carpenter and working with steel. He built or repaired anything he set his mind too and his generosity in sharing his skills with family and friends was one of his defining characteristics.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, his wife (Eileene), and his two brothers (DeWayne) and (Don). Clyde is survived by his four children, Tracey (Frank), Terry, James (Lorna), Jarred, and his sister LuDean. We could always count on dad whenever we needed his help. Thank you dad!
