James is survived by his three children, Betty Canales, Tina Harris Torres and James Harris. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He adored his grandchildren. His grandkids loved spending time with their Pa and will miss him dearly.
James is a veteran of the United States Army. He grew up in Houston, the only son of Edith Mozelle Bogel. He was a retired welder. He was a lefty. He loved trivia, country music and a good cold beer. He will be remembered for his love of all sports including golf, basketball, baseball and his beloved Dallas Cowboys football team.
Services will be held this Friday at 10am at Carrillo Funeral Home.
